WORM SCREW JACK

J D Automation worm gear screw jacks of the SGM BRAND are manufactured for loads from 1 TON, 2.5TON,5 TON.10TON.15 TON, 20 TON ,25 TON,35TON,50 TON, to 150 TON All models are designed for both pushing and pulling forces, and for position-independent functioning. The cubic housing, standardised mounting material and end-pieces, and pre-drilled flange holes permit the ideal installation of motor, gears and shaft encoder. Synchronisation of several worm gear screw jacks is simple with the complete range of accessories.

Worm screw jack finds extensive application in machinery, metallurgy, construction, water conservancy, and other industries. It is capable of lifting and descending as well as facilitating auxiliary parts for promoting, flipping, adjusting to various height positions, and performing numerous other functions.

Moreover, it can be directly driven by an electric motor or other power source or operated manually.Additionally, it offers diverse structures and assembly methods while allowing for customized lifting heights based on user requirements


Screw Jack System, with the Following Characteristics

  • Maximum static load capacities: 2.5~150 ton.
  • Screw details: Self-locking trapezoidal screw sizes
  • Gear ratios: Two options: high ratio 6:1 and slow ratio 24:1 for different linear speeds.
  • Stroke length: Custom stroke length, maximum 2000 mm in compression load, 2500 mm in tension load.
  • Basic designs: Translating screw, keyed screw, and rotating screw.
  • Mounting: Upright or inverted mounting, available in tension or compression loads. Thread options: Standard with 1-start thread screw; custom 2-starts threads offer increased travel speed but require a brake or external locking device to hold position.
  • Screw end fittings: Top plate, clevis end, threaded end, plain end, fork head, and rod end.
  • Power sources: Manual operation (hand wheel and crank handle), electrically by motor drive, or both combined.
  • System integration: Can be used individually or combined into synchronized lifting systems using connecting shafts, bevel gearboxes, couplings, motors, gear reducers, limit switches, and pillow blocks.
  • Custom options: Double clevis screw jack, trunnion mount screw jack, and anti-backlash screw jack.

  • Housing: High-strength Casting Housing, Ductile Iron. Custom options include Stainless Steel 304.
  •  Input Shaft (Worm): C45 Steel with high frequency heat treatment. Custom options include Stainless Steel 304 or 316.
  • Lifting Screw: C45 Steel as standard. Custom options include Stainless Steel 304 or 316.
  • Worm Gear / Travelling Nut / Safety Nut: ZQAl9-4 (Casting aluminium bronze) as standard. Custom option is ZCuSn10Pb1 (Casting tin bronze).
  • Bearing: Anti-friction Ball Thrust Bearings for Worm Gear and Anti-friction Ball Bearings for Input Shaft (worm). Custom option is Stainless Steel 304.
  • Motor Flange Adapter: High-strength Casting Motor Adapter, Ductile Iron. Custom options include Stainless Steel 304 or 316.
  • Lubricants: Synthetic Grease, Extreme Pressure EP2 Lithium Grease.
